Our ministry exists to bring children into age appropriate WORSHIP where they can BELONG to the family of God, GROW in their relationship with Christ, learn to SERVE and then go SHARE Christ in the world! KidsTown is the name of our Sunday Children’s Ministry and Surge is our Wednesday Ministry for children. Both are led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children and whose vision is to “Connect Kids to God and to Others”! Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults!
KidsTown: Sundays 10:30 AM
This time is especially for kids while their grown ups worship in the sanctuary. Each child is taught Biblical truths in an age-appropriate environment. From Nursery through 5th Grade, our desire is to care for each child in an individual way. Each of our KidsTown teachers and helpers have been through training and have been screened to work with your child. Your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving and encouraging environment.
Surge: Wednesdays 6:30 PM
Wednesday night events for Kids (Nursery-2nd Grade) are held for kids whose grown ups attend a Commonground LIfegroup. Kids learn in small groups with teachers who are also part of our CG Lifegroups. They have fun, sing, craft, and most importantly learn!
Preteens: Wednesdays 6:30 PM
Our 3rd-5th graders whose grown ups attend a CG Lifegroup can attend Preteens. We work through various series in the Bible. They learn how to search in their Bible, what worship means, and about how much God loves them through games, object lessons, and discussions.
