Are You a True Fan?

 

Boy, is it easy to sit in the stands and tell the team how to play!  We’re all experts!  They should have blocked that punt, they should have made that touchdown, what’s wrong with you ref?  But to be a true fan means we have to support the team whether we’re winning or losing.  That’s not as easy, but it’s the mark of a TRUE fan.  Christians don’t need fair-weather fans, they need cheerleaders, coaches and water boys.  We have to follow the vision of Christ:  Love Each Other!

Read Hebrews 10:23-24.  What is God telling you about your purpose in these verses?

 

Let’s try something this week. 

  • Speak NOTHING negative.
  • Encourage another Christian in person.
  • Pray with someone.  I know it’s hard… do it anyway!
